In Monday's league test, the host North Smithfield Northmen lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Scituate Spartans.
The Northmen now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 test on Wednesday, May 1. North Smithfield will face a Tigers squad coming off a 16-4 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 4 test, on Wednesday, May 1. Scituate will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 14-1 league win over Classical (Providence, RI).
