Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 8-5 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Elgin for a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Bartlett will battle a Maroons squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, South Elgin falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to battle the Rams in a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 13-6. Glenbard East won 20-2 in their recent league challenge against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)
