Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) and the host Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), witnessed Bracken County's softball squad top Paris by a count of 19-2.

The Polar Bears (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Camels go into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Campbell County topped Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to George Rogers Clark for a District 40 battle on Tuesday, April 30. Paris will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-16.
