The Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting East Ridge Pioneers to 8 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy improves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 30. The Fighting Irish come into the game with a record of 7-10. Notre Dame lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN)

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Chattanooga Central Pounders (Harrison, TN) in a 3A District 6 game, on Friday, May 3. East Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Pounders come into the game with a 19-8 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Cumberland County (Crossville, TN).
