Windsor Central Black Knights (Windsor, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Susquehanna Valley for a Section 4 Southern Tier - Central challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Windsor Central will battle a Sabers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, NY). The Sabers record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Chenango Valley moves to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY) to face the River Hawks in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1. The River Hawks go into the match with a record of 4-3. Owego Free Academy lost 17-11 in their recent non-league match against Waverly (Waverly, NY)
