Spectators at Monday's league match between the Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) and the visiting East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH), witnessed Southern's softball squad prevail over East Palestine by a count of 12-1.

The Indians now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Columbiana for a Eastern Ohio Athletic match on Tuesday, April 30. Southern will encounter a Clippers team coming off a 10-0 league win over United (Hanoverton, OH). The Clippers record now stands at 20-3.

The Bulldogs (5-8) will now prepare for their test against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH). The Potters enter the non-league test with a 1-16 record.
