The Frontier Cougars softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host River Pilots to 10 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Frontier moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Cougars host Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to clash with the Zeps in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 1. The Zeps come into the game with a record of 0-20. Shenandoah lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH)

In their next game, the Pilots clash with the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. River will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Big Reds come into the game with a 7-13 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Beaver (Lisbon, OH).
