Ohio High School Softball - Piketon gets by Huntington

April 29, 2024: Chillicothe, OH 45601

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) and the host Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH), witnessed Piketon's softball squad tip Huntington by a count of 8-7.

The Redstreaks now sport a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Paint Valley for a Scioto Valley match on Wednesday, May 1. Piketon will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-19.

With the loss, Huntington moves to 13-10 on the season. The Huntsmen host Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH) to face the Panthers in a Scioto Valley match on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-16.
