The James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) softball the host Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA), 2-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Colonels (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges go into the Northwestern bout with a 0-12 record. In their last bout, Handley by Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 16-0, in a league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Ridge for a Dulles bout on Tuesday, April 30. Tuscarora will confront a Phoenix squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-6.
