The Woodstock North Thunder routed the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Monday's league battle.

The Thunder (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Harvard held off Sandwich (Sandwich, IL), 4-1, in a league battle.

The Skyhawks now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Antioch for a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. Johnsburg will meet a Sequoits squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 19-3.
