The Somerset Briar Jumpers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln County Patriots to 1 in the Briar Jumpers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Somerset moves its record to 10-18 on the year. The Briar Jumpers host North Laurel (London, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 15-5. North Laurel won 15-0 in their recent league game against Clay County (Manchester, KY)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Danville Christian Academy Warriors (Danville, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record.
