The River Hill Hawks routed the host Long Reach Lightning softball squad by a final score of 15-4 in Monday's league battle.

The Hawks (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lightning go into the Howard County battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Long Reach was routed by Howard (Ellicott City, MD), 12-2, in a league battle.

The Lightning now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host River Hill for a Howard County battle on Monday, April 29. Long Reach will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 11-7.
