Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (Sebewaing, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Laker for a Greater Thumb - West challenge on Thursday, May 2.

With the loss, Marlette falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Sandusky (Sandusky, MI) to battle the Wolves in a Greater Thumb - East challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
