California High School Softball - Northridge Academy bounces Sherman Oaks CES

Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Pumas now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences for a Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Northridge Academy will battle a Vipers squad coming off a 26-5 league win over East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Vipers record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, Sherman Oaks CES falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fulton (Van Nuys, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a Valley challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Fulton won 23-11 in their recent league challenge against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)
