Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bangor for a Colonial - East challenge on Wednesday, May 1.

With the loss, Pen Argyl falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Green knights travel to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA) to face the Panthers in a Colonial - East challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Saucon Valley lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA)
