St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ocean Township for a Shore - B North challenge on Wednesday, May 1. St. John-Vianney will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Red Bank Regional falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Neptune (Neptune, NJ) to battle the Scarlet Fliers in a Shore - B North challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Scarlet Fliers enter the challenge with a record of 0-10. Neptune lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ)
