The Abilene Cowboys baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Riley County Falcons to 6 in the Cowboys non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Buhler for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Abilene will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-6.

With the defeat, Riley County drops to 7-13 on the year. The Falcons host Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Bluejays go into the test with a record of 9-10. Sabetha lost 13-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson West (Meriden, KS)
