California High School Baseball - Poly held off by Arlington

The Poly Bears baseball squad (Riverside, CA), 2-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Arlington Lions (Riverside, CA)

With the triumph, Arlington moves its record to 19-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA) to confront the Lancers in a Ivy contest on Thursday, May 1. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 5-17. Lakeside lost 12-8 in their recent league contest against Liberty (Winchester, CA)

The Bears now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paloma Valley for a Ivy contest on Thursday, May 1. Poly will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-9.
