With the triumph, Belen moves its record to 17-8 on the season. The Eagles host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a 4A District 5 contest on Friday, May 2. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 10-14. Valencia won 14-4 in their recent league contest against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
The Pirates now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gallup for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 30. Grants will confront a Bengals squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 5-17.
