The Blacksburg Bruins baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 1 in the Bruins league win on Tuesday.
The Bruins now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to William Byrd for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Blacksburg will clash with a Terriers team coming off a 16-0 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 6-9.
With the defeat, Patrick Henry drops to 4-9 on the year. The Patriots host Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 0-12. Fleming lost 11-0 in their recent league test against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)
