In Tuesday's league bout, the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), by a tally of 14-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 1. Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 7-0 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, VA).
The Broncos (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes enter the Tri-Rivers bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Windsor overcame Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 7-0, in a league bout.
