The Ponaganset Chieftains baseball squad (North Scituate, RI), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI)

With the triumph, Burrillville moves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Broncos host Prout (Wakefield, RI) to confront the Crusaders in a Division 2 contest on Thursday, May 1. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Prout won 6-1 in their recent league contest against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)

The Chieftains now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Division 2 contest on Thursday, May 1. Ponaganset will confront a Knights squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.
