The Hurricanes now own a 27-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pius X Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Cartersville will play a Golden Lions team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 33-2.

With the defeat, Starr's Mill drops to 23-8 on the year.
