The Wampus Cats (23-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Panthers enter the 6A Central battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Cabot bounced Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR), 7-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Gryphons face the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central battle, on Thursday, May 1. Little Rock Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 12-13 record after their 13-0 league loss to Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR).
