The Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) baseball trounced the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL), 11-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Celtics now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way East for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Providence Catholic will clash with a Griffins team coming off a 14-13 league win over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 16-4.

With the defeat, DePaul College Prep drops to 18-4 on the year. The Rams host Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wolfpack in a Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Saint Ignatius College Prep lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL)
