The Cardinals now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Windom for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Fairmont will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 league win over Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, St. James drops to 5-2 on the year. The Saints host Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN) to clash with the Huskies in a Southwest test on Thursday, May 1. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 2-6. Jackson County Central won 11-2 in their recent league test against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN)
