Connecticut High School Baseball - Fitch sneaks past New London

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Fitch Falcons baseball team scored a close 8-7 victory over the New London Whalers.
The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Westerly held off North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 7-6, in a league game.
Next, the Whalers face the Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 30. New London will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 13-9 league win over Prince RVT (Hartford, CT).
