In Tuesday's league bout, the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) baseball squad the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), by a tally of 8-6.

Next up, the Buffaloes encounter the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Floyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Bengals enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 16-6 league win over George Washington (Danville, VA).
