In Tuesday's league bout, the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), by a score of 13-2.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Northside will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 9-6 league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA).
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Liberty Christian achieved victory over Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 13-3, in a league bout.
