Virginia High School Baseball - Patrick County defeats Glenvar

The Patrick County Cougars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Glenvar Highlanders to 1 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.
The Cougars now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Radford for a Three Rivers test on Friday, May 2. Patrick County will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Glenvar drops to 5-7 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers match on Thursday, May 1. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 13-2. Carroll County won 5-0 in their recent league match against Alleghany (Covington, VA)
