West Virginia High School Baseball - Lincoln defeats Lewis County

April 29, 2025: Shinnston, WV 26431

The Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) baseball trounced the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 9-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they host Preston for a Big Ten challenge on Thursday, May 1. Lincoln will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Knights record now stands at 8-7.

The Minutemen (2-13) will now prepare for their outing against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Trinity Christian edged Tucker County (Hambleton, WV), 7-2, in a non-league outing.
