The Wilmington Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Lisle Lions to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Peotone for a Illinois Central Eight test on Monday, May 5.
With the defeat, Lisle drops to 1-17 on the year. The Lions travel to Sandwich (Sandwich, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Indians go into the test with a record of 11-11. Sandwich won 4-3 in their recent league test against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL)
