The Montesano Bulldogs baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Rochester Warriors to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoquiam for a 1A Evergreen test on Thursday, May 1. Montesano will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Tenino (Tenino, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-9.

With the defeat, Rochester drops to 8-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Rainier (Rainier, WA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Mountaineers go into the test with a record of 8-10. Rainier won 14-2 in their recent non-league test against Wahkiakum (Cathlamet, WA)
