The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets baseball squad scored 11 runs and limited the host Waynesboro Little Giants to 2 in the Green Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Wilson Memorial advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Green Hornets host Riverheads (Staunton, VA) to battle the Gladiators in a Shenandoah match on Friday, May 2. The Gladiators come into the match with a record of 9-2. Riverheads lost 4-1 in their recent league match against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)

The Little Giants now have a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host James River for a non-league match on Thursday, May 1. Waynesboro will battle a Knights squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.
