Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 2-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Starmount moves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Rams host North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 8-5. North Surry lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)

The Cardinals now sport a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A test on Thursday, May 1. East Wilkes will clash with a Granite Bears team coming off a 0-0 league Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 1-12.
