The Moriarty Pintos baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils to 3 in the Pintos non-league win on Tuesday.
The Pintos now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pojoaque Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Moriarty will play a Elks/Elkettes team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 6-9.
With the defeat, Espanola Valley drops to 0-15 on the year. The Sundevils host Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-6. Taos won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
