The Wildcats now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Great Bridge will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-7.

With the defeat, Hickory drops to 6-4 on the year. The Hawks host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 6-6. Deep Creek won 11-10 in their recent non-league test against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)
