The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) and the visiting Xavier Knights (New York, NY), saw Iona Prep's baseball team get by Xavier by a tally of 3-2.

The Gaels (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea held off Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY), 11-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Salesian Eagles (New Rochelle, NY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Xavier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to St. Raymond Boys (Bronx, NY).
