In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-2 triumph over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Black Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Fluvanna County held off Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 8-5, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Hornets clash with the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Orange County will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
