In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Amherst County Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Liberty Christian Bulldogs.
The Lancers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Glass got by Liberty (Bedford, VA), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 2. Liberty Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
