North Carolina High School Softball - Laney bounces North Brunswick

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), observed Laney's softball team notch a victory over North Brunswick by a final score of 14-6.

The Buccaneers (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Topsail gained a win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 16-2, in a non-league bout.
