The Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) lacrosse nudged the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 12-11 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Green Level for a Southwest Wake outing on Friday, May 2. Middle Creek will face a Gators squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Apex falls to 15-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to face the Falcons in a Southwest Wake outing on Thursday, May 1. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 9-9. Green Hope lost 11-10 in their recent league outing against Green Level (Cary, NC)
