In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Bacon Academy Bobcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the St. Bernard/Wheeler Saints.
The Bobcats (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record.
Next, the Saints clash with the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge, on Thursday, May 1. St. Bernard/Wheeler will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
