North Carolina High School Lacrosse - South Brunswick drops to Laney

The Laney Buccaneers triumphed over the visiting South Brunswick Cougars lacrosse team by a tally of 18-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern battle, on Friday, May 2. Laney will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 19-2 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

The Cougars now sport a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hanover for a Mideastern battle on Friday, May 2. South Brunswick will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 20-3 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-13.
