Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) and the host Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC), saw Charleston Math & Science's soccer squad hold off Baptist Hill by a count of 1-0.

The Riptide (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Phoenix enter the A Region 5 battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Palmetto Scholars Academy tipped Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bobcats battle the Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 1. Baptist Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-12 record after their 4-1 league loss to Hampton County (Varnville, SC).
