Next, the Cardinals face the Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) in a 1A Northeast game, on Thursday, May 1. Medical Lake will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 5-4 league win over Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA).

The Crimson Hawks (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Newport (Newport, WA). The Grizzlies come into the 1A Northeast game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Newport was overwhelmed by Riverside (Chattaroy, WA), 4-1, in a league game.
