The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (Kaukauna, WI) and the host Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI), observed Kaukauna's softball team notch a victory over Appleton East by a final score of 11-1.

The Galloping Ghosts (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Spartans go into the Fox Valley Association bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Oshkosh North was routed by Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI), 9-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI) in a Fox Valley Association bout, on Friday, May 2. Appleton East will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
