Virginia High School Softball - Chincoteague topped by Arcadia

Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 10-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Arcadia improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Firebirds host Northampton (Eastville, VA) to play the Yellowjackets in a Eastern Shore game on Thursday, May 1. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 3-8. Northampton lost 21-11 in their recent league game against Nandua (Onley, VA)

The Ponies now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Nandua for a Eastern Shore game on Thursday, May 1. Chincoteague will play a Warriors squad coming off a 21-11 league win over Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.
