The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) and the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), observed Oak Lawn's softball team get by Argo by a tally of 5-4.

The Spartans (10-9) will now prepare for their bout against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Stagg was nipped by Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 6-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Argonauts battle the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Thursday, May 1. Argo will attempt to advance on its 14-4 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL).
