Massachusetts High School Softball - Athol succumbs to Franklin County Tech

April 29, 2025: Athol, MA 01331

In Tuesday's league test, the Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Athol Bears (Athol, MA), by a tally of 19-0.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors (Buckland, MA) in a PVIAC - Franklin East test, on Thursday, May 1. Franklin County Tech will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 14-9 non-league loss to Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA).

With the loss, Athol moves to 0-2 on the season.
